Empowering Young People Through Creativity

Echoes is a breath-taking combination of contemporary dance and circus. Via a full size trampoline, a trampowall and 2 chinese poles, this spectacular performance explores the extraordinary in the journeys and routines of our daily lives.

Echoes premiered at Maiden Lane Estate, Camden as part of CircusFest 2014 for The Roundhouse April 3-5 2014.

Ella collaborates with directors, photographers and brands to create bespoke movement for commercial campaigns and live events.

Collaborators and clients include Danny Sangra, Julien Martinez Leclerc, United Visual Artists, Nike, Reebok, Lululemon and Vogue.

Ella was Associate Director of Barely Methodical Troupe working with them to develop their unique brand of acrobatic movement and on the creation of their three shows. Bromance, Kin and Shift have toured the UK and Internationally to critical acclaim.

I have over twenty years experience teaching young people within formal education and extracurricular settings. Exploring the creation of physical material through imaginative play builds key life skills and promotes well being.

My work with young people informs my professional practice and challenges me to evolve as a practitioner. I specialise in delivering bespoke devising workshops that can be used to support the delivery of practical examination syllabus.
